Here are four things he observed while on the ground. … Now that Brown’s a New Englander, he also sat down with Maria Taylor for an exclusive interview, in which he discussed his frayed relationship with Jalen Hurts. … Meanwhile, Eagles players also shared their thoughts on the long-awaited deal. … With the Pats, Brown will be teaming up with WR Romeo Doubs as the team’s WR1 and WR2. Here’s where the pair rank among the league’s best wideout duos. … Elsewhere in NFL news, everyone’s still reeling from the Rams’ blockbuster trade for Myles Garrett. Of course, the Rams aren’t new to this; they’re true to this. So Eva Geithem ranked the team’s five best big-time trades since Les Snead took over as GM. … Could this move push retired L.A. star Aaron Donald out of retirement? Turns out, it might be possible. … And Joe Flacco, backup QB in the AFC North, summed up how everyone in the division is feeling with Garrett heading out West.
GAME 1: Oh baby, tonight is the night! The rematch of the 2025-26 NBA Cup! (Remember that?) Ahead of Finals Game 1 in San Antonio, here is a look at the 10 best guys playing in the championship series, as well as a position-by-position breakdown of both squads. … SI’s NBA team also did its best impression of high school seniors and handed out some superlatives for the 2026 season, which include Weirdest Way to Score a FG and the Becoming the Chiefs Award (I bet you know which team got that one). HAGS!
LAST LINKS STANDING: Speaking of Finals, the Stanley Cup Final is also underway! Karl Rasmussen penned some bold predictions for the series, which kicked off Tuesday night. The Golden Knights won 5–4, and you can relive the match in our since-ended live blog. … Personally, I’ll be rooting for the Hurricanes, as they haven’t been to a Final in two decades (but believe it or not, that’s not even close to the longest drought in the league). … Looking to cry this morning? You’ll need to watch WVU baseball fans sing “Country Roads” after the team punched its ticket to the Super Regional round of the NCAA tournament. Great stuff. … And speaking of baseball, a Guardians broadcaster poked fun at Jazz Chisholm Jr. for his appearance on The Tonight Show. … And SMU’s 2026 football roster might include a former MLB player? Hmm.

It’s here! Game 1 has arrived. This game should set the tone for the series we’re about to watch. If it’s a blowout by San Antonio, well, that spells trouble for the Knicks. But if New York can hold its own—or better yet, steal a road win—we’ll know we’re in for a real treat. WNBA: Tempo @ Liberty—7:30 p.m. ET; USA Network
Mercury @ Storm—10 p.m. ET; USA Network Don’t forget that there’s some WNBA action to tune into tonight, as well. After two wins against the Mercury, the Liberty will host the Tempo in New York. The Storm, meanwhile, are fresh off a loss against the Tempo. So everyone here just switched opponents. Fun. MLB:
Pirates @ Astros—8:10 p.m. ET; MLB.TV
Dodgers @ Diamondbacks—9:40 p.m. ET; MLB Network, MLB.TV Just some good pitching for ya. We’ve got Skenes on the mound in Pirates-Astros, and then Shohei taking over for L.A. a little bit later. God, what a night of sports!
